Building Automation Engineer – Software and Projects
Location – Wezep, The Netherlands
Salary – €60,000 – €75,000 + Car + Phone + Laptop + Hybrid Working + 38 Holiday Days
The Role

This is an opportunity to join a growing team delivering innovative building automation projects across a range of sectors.
We are looking for a Software / Projects Engineer to support the design, programming, integration, and optimisation of advanced control systems. You will work on a variety of projects, combining office-based engineering with client-site responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Designing, programming, testing, and commissioning building control systems
- Integrating and automating advanced control solutions
- Troubleshooting, analysing, and resolving technical issues independently
- Carrying out service visits and system optimisation at client sites
- Supporting project delivery through technical input and problem-solving
- Working closely with project managers, engineers, and customers
- Providing technical advice and ensuring projects run smoothly
- Maintaining accurate documentation and administration
Desired Experience
- A completed MBO Level 3 or 4 qualification in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Automation, or a related discipline
- Experience working in a similar software, controls, or service engineering role
- Knowledge of PLC systems and building automation technologies
- Experience with programming, commissioning, or troubleshooting control systems
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- A flexible mindset and willingness to travel to client locations
