Test Automation Engineer – Apeldoorn – ALTEN Netherlands
The Position
As part of our growing team, we are looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join us in Apeldoorn and contribute to high-impact client projects across various industries.
As a Test Automation Engineer, your main tasks will include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks
- Translating technical requirements into robust and efficient test solutions
- Executing automated test suites and analyzing results to ensure software quality
- Identifying, reporting, and troubleshooting defects in collaboration with development teams
- Supporting continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines with automated testing
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes and ensure high-quality deliverables
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO/WO) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 3–8 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle complex testing challenges
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins)
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and clients at all levels
- Positive mindset, proactive attitude, and eagerness to continuously learn and grow
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Comfortable working remotely with engineering teams in other countries than the Netherlands

- Lease car with fuel card
